Drake is looking to have people talking tonight at the Billboard Music Awards.

The artist is up for a record 22 nominations at tonight’s show. Almost guaranteed to take home an award, he wants to make sure tonight will be memorable for more reasons than one.

Executive producer of the show Mark Bracco gave a hint of what’s to come in a statement to Billboard.

“You know, Drake does not perform on television very often so I think whenever he does it’s a real event,” he said. “We built a real terrific relationship with his team, working creatively with them and coming up with a big idea, and I think it’s gonna be a very, very big moment in the show. It’s not a surprise necessarily but it’s gonna be a moment that people aren’t exactly expecting…It’ll be memorable, I promise you that.”

So what could it be? Will he be bringing out Tory Lanez? A Meek Mill/Drake performance (yea right). Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Wayne going to come out? Could we get our first look at Kanye West in public before their rumored joint EP is released? Who knows, but if we believe the hype than I guess tonight’s performance could be special.

His nominations include awards for Top Male Arist, Top Selling Song for “One Dance”, Top Rap Album with VIEWS and more.
