It’s been a year since Beyoncé released her album Lemonade.

On the project, she got very personal and even spoke on the troubles in her very private relationship with JAY-Z. It has been rumored that Hova would respond at some point. With the release of 4:44 we got that response.

In “Kill Jay Z” he addresses his own situation poetically through the prism of the troubles of Halle Berry and Eric Benét.

“You almost went Eric Benét, Let the baddest girl in the world get away, I don’t even know what else to say, Nigga, never go Eric Benét, I don’t even know what you woulda done, In the future, other n***as playin’ football with your son.”

He continues on “4:44” with a real line about cheating and respecting women.

“What good is a ménage à trois when you have a soulmate? You risked that for Blue? If I wasn’t a superhero in your face, My heart breaks for the day I had to explain my mistakes.”

He also responded to Bey’s famous “Becky with the good hair” lyric off her single “Sorry” in his single “Family Feud.”

“Yea, I’ll f*** up a good thing if you let me, Let me alone, Becky, Nobody wins when the family feud’s” then later, “what’s better than one billionaire? Two ‘specially if they’re from the same hue as you.”
