Kendrick Lamar REVEALS His April 7 Surprise [PHOTO]

The clock turned to midnight, and fans waited for what Kendrick Lamar had in store for his fans.

On the track titled “The Heart (Part 4)” he sent a message to the entire world of hip hop with the following lines, “y’all got till April the 7th to get ya’ll s*** together.”

It’s now April 7 and there will be no album. Instead his upcoming album showed up in the iTunes store available to pre-order. It currently has 14 tracks and is at least initially titled ALBUM.

U2 has a credit on one track – although it is not yet known whether it is due to a sample or a feature. Producers credited include Mike WiLL Made It who helped create the single “Humble,” 9th Wonder, the Alchemist, DJ Dahi, Greg Kurstin, Sounwave and “J. Blake.”

The album will be released April 14.
