Rise Up NYC Hosting Three Free Concerts In Brooklyn This Week

It’s time to party in Brooklyn! Whether you love gospel, hip-hop, or R&B – Rise Up NYC has something special and free for you to enjoy. Get out to Wingate Park in Brooklyn, just a quick walk from Winthrop Street Subway Station to enjoy free entertainment every night from 7/27 to 7/29!

In the spirit of unity Rise Up NYC is hosting concerts for all of New York to enjoy this week. These concerts are the first of ten shows throughout New York City to promote unity and respect! 

The first show will be for Gospel and R&B fans on Wednesday, July 27th at 6pm in Wingate Park featuring the legendary gospel duo Mary-Mary and former Mint Condition frontman Stokley! 

Show number two is for the islands! On Thursday, July 28th – Rise Up NYC is turning Wingate Park into Kingston, Jamaica with a Reggae and Soca Show curated by Dahved Levy. Come and see Red Fox, Screechy Dan, Mr. Vegas, Cham, Skinny Fabulous, Pumpa, and GMB Nutron! Come to Brooklyn ready to dance this Thursday! 

Then on Friday, July 29th hip-hop fans have a chance to see a lineup curated by Funk Flex including Vivian Green, HoodCelebrityy, and MASE! End your work week with some free entertainment from your favorite artists. All Brooklyn shows start at 6pm and end at 10pm.

All of these shows are free of charge and just a quick walk from Winthrop Street Station, which is accessible by the 2 and 5 train. Join Rise Up NYC this week in uniting the city through the power of music! Tell your neighbors, friends, and coworkers about the free shows in Wingate Park this week and to come ready to party! As mentioned earlier these are the first of a series of shows being thrown throughout New York by Rise Up NYC.
