Curren$y is a well respected artist formally signed to No Limit, Cash Money, & Young Money. Over the years he has been successful on the mixtape scene and with tracks alongside the likes of Lil’ Wayne, Freddie Gibbs, Wiz Khalifa, Styles P and more! He released 12 mixtapes in 2016 alone! The rapper most recently released a project ‘Vices’ alongside Harry Fraud.

The New Orleans native speaks on his introduction to Hip Hop after listening to Sugar Hill Gang and being exposed to the 1984 film “Breakin’. He also discusses how the first hip hop song he learned was Kool Moe Dee’s 1987 classic “Wild, Wild, West.” He also looks back at the style he used to wear and be inspired by, some of the first shows he attended and more!
