Following the tragedy that occurred at Astroworld in Houston, Texas over the weekend which left eight attendees dead and others injured, Travi$ Scott has released a statement and also spoke on video about his feeling about the event.

Now he is giving back their money.

According to Variety, the artist has decided to refund all attendees of the show. He has also decided to cancel his performance at the Day N Vegas Festival in Las Vegas Saturday, November 13 as he is “too distraught to play” according to their sources.

More than 50,000 people attended the Astroworld on Saturday when this incident occurred. There have been reports of multiple people in cardiac arrests, and a report of a police officer being poked with a hypodermic needle.

Despite pleas from several fans who tried to find ways to stop the show, Travi$ Scott performed his entire set, and ended at about 9:38PM EST.. Authorities agreed with that decision as they were fearful of a riot breaking out, causing a more difficult situation according to Houston Police Chief Troy Finner.

Scott made a video statement yesterday (Nov 7) on Instagram Live sending condolences to those who were lost.
