50 Cent is sharing some information about his finances.

As reported on Hot New Hip Hop, during a recent interview with writer Brian J. Roberts, Fif revealed he was able to save a bag in a big way. 50 spoke on how when his career began to pop off and saw financial success, he was still living in a two-bedroom apartment, paying $800 in rent. He had $38 million in the bank at one particular time while still living in the hood. 50 said,

“My first run, the Rock The Mic tour, I came back, I had $38 million in my account. And all I had was a two-bedroom apartment that was $800 a month. So if you don’t spend it, you know the IRS is gonna take it. So I needed the expenses. So I ended up buying Mike Tyson’s home in Farmington.”
