Aretha Franklin Will Have an Open Casket Viewing at an African American Museum in Detroit

According to reports Aretha Franklin will have an open casket viewing at an African American museum in Detroit.

 

It will be a 4-day event that begins at the Charles H. Wright Museum, with Franklin’s open casket for two days.

 

The funeral will take place at Greater Grace Temple for close friends and family.

 

Aretha Franklin was a frequent visitor to the museum, and her family is expecting thousands, therefore it is the perfect place for people to say their goodbyes.

 

Keep in mind this was the same museum used for Rosa Parks viewing in 2005.
