During a recent interview with Zane Lowe,” A$AP Rocky revealed how excited he was for his girlfriend Rihanna’s highly anticipated Super Bowl LVII halftime show performance.
“Oh man, I’m just as excited as you guys — if not more,” the “F**kin’ Problems” hitmaker said while laughing. “I’m super excited. This is huge, this is incredible. I’m so glad that my lady is back making music again and what not, and getting back out there, you know?”
A$AP Rocky continued, “It’s incredible, especially for both of us. It’s a good year for both of us to be more active and be out there. But the Super Bowl is huge. The creative that she is, she’s going to bring it, man. I’m excited. I’m more excited than everybody else, honestly.”
With just a month until the Super Bowl, Rihanna recently dropped a new trailer that teases the big show, as well as a limited edition Savage X Fenty Game Day collection filled with merch. Apple Music has replaced Pepsi as the official sponsor of the halftime show. “Rihanna is an incredible recording artist who is a favorite for many millions of Apple Music customers around the world,” Apple’s Vice President of Apple Music and Beats Oliver Schusser said in a statement. “We’re excited to partner with Rihanna, Roc Nation and the NFL to bring music and sports fans a momentous show — what an incredible artist for the inaugural Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.”
