Almost three years later, Lizzo’s hit song “Truth Hurts”, may be eligible for a grammy nomination at the 2020 Grammy Awards. As reported by Billboard, the song is being considered because it was never submitted it when it was first released.
The song appears on her recent album Cuz I Love You and it landed in the number four spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and has since been certified platinum. The members of the Recording Academy are scheduled to meet at an annual gathering where they will vote to see if the song will be allowed to compete in the ceremony.
