Black Rob’s home-going service was earlier today (April 30).

He tragically passed away on April 17 as a result of cardiac arrest.

During his service, a loved one hopped on the mic to clear up a few things about Black Rob and Diddy’s relationship. Before DMX’s death, Black Rob made a tribute to his fellow rap friend. In the video Black posted, he was in a hospital bed and said he’s suffering from “crazy pain.” He managed to say he has a lot of love for X. Rob also explained that he’s homeless. The videos rang a lot of bells from people who care about him. Fans quickly called Diddy out for not helping his former Bad Bad employee. Another ex-Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry, made a video online saying Diddy reached out to Rob and reportedly tried to help.

At the funeral, as people were saying kind words about Rob, his friend mentioned Puffy was “always there” for Rob. The friend said, “Puff got him the best doctors; he got him the best everything. The best hotels, anything he wanted.” Take a look at a screen-grab, captured by The Shade Room:

Black Rob will always be remembered as a rap legend. He gave us classics like “Whoa,” and dope verses on “Let’s Get It,” and “24 Hrs To Live.”
