It’s not looking good for Choppa.

Born Kevin Barnes, the former MTV Making The Band rapper was reportedly arrested on felony sex trafficking charges. TMZ reports law enforcement is accusing Choppa of being a pimp. The report says authorities detained him in Annapolis, Maryland, and he’s being extradited to Las Vegas.

Choppa got caught after authorities looked at his IG account and noticed multiple posts related to prostitution and pimping. In one of the posts, Choppa allegedly made a reference to being a pimp. One said, “Sending em,” with a money bag and crown emoji. Take a look:

Another report says Choppa bragged to the undercover about having a large home. In addition, Choppa reportedly advised the undercover to “join his stable.” The undercover stalled by saying they were afraid to leave, but the former rapper allegedly became angry and demanded a $2,000 fee. Page Six reports that there was enough evidence to arrest and charge Choppa at that point.

Ironically, Choppa reportedly told the undercover cop that Vegas wasn’t good for selling sex because law enforcement was cracking down. We’ll keep you updated as more details become public.
