DJ Khaled has decided to release the single he recorded with the late Nipsey Hussle. The song called “Higher”, was finished days before Hussle was shot and killed in front of his clothing store, Marathon.
Khaled took to Twitter to make the announcement about the song and tweeted that all of the proceeds from the song will go to Hussle’s children, Emani, 10 and Kross, 2.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, Khaled stated that his decision to release the song came from a lot of prayer and from the blessings of Hussle’s family. The song also features John Legend.
