Damn, it looks like DMX is still having some legal issues.
The rapper was reportedly issued a tax warrant from the State of New York for owing $224,845 in state income taxes.
This isn’t the first time that the rapper had gotten in trouble because of his taxes. A few years ago, X was sentenced to a year in prison for tax fraud after he withheld a total of $2.2 million. In 2014 and in 2018, he also had tax liens against him for $230,409.74 and $20,030.26.
Murray Richman, X’s lawyer, addressed the issue in a statement by saying that the lien was anticipated and that his client is doing well.
DMX is currently in Tennessee filming a documentary.
