Fans will have new music from DMX this month.

Swizz Beatz revealed the date when DMX’s first posthumous album, Exodus, will be released. It’ll drop on May 28. Take a look:

It’s reportedly executive produced by Swizz. Hot New Hip Hop reports the producer said,

“My brother X was one of the [purest] and rare souls I’ve ever met. He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure.” He continued,

“This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.”

It’s not clear who else is involved. It’ll be released through Def Jam/Ruff Ryders. DMX’s eight-year-old daughter, Sonovah Jr., is posthumously collaborating with her dad on two songs. It’s not clear if they appear on Exodus, we’ll keep you updated!
