Donald Trump has targeted LeBron James in a recent phone interview.
While speaking to Rush Limbaugh, Trump spoke about James calling him a hater. “He’s a great basketball player, but people don’t want to see a guy that’s that way. They don’t want to see that… He’s a hater.”
He continued, “You don’t want to sit down and watch a basketball game, and then watch somebody that hates your guts, okay.” It has been reported that Trump previously has stated that he wouldn’t be watching any games once the NBA season resumed due to the players were peacefully protesting during the National Anthem.
James responded, “I really don’t think the basketball community is sad about losing his viewership. The game will go on without his eyes on it.”
