Dr. Dre and Nicole Young made a massive step toward finalizing their divorce.
As reported on Page Six, the estranged couple asked a California judge to sign off on legally ending their marriage. The judge will reportedly sign off on the agreement in July.
Dre and Nicole are still working on an agreement on splitting Dre’s $800 million fortune. Last year they announced they’d be getting a divorce after 24 years of marriage. The biggest battle is over a prenup that Nicole alleges Dre tore up while he claims he always had one.
Right now, Dre is paying nearly $2 million in monthly temporary spousal support. In a recent court order, three of Dre’s alleged mistresses were court-ordered to testify. Nicole wants to prove Dre was funding their lifestyle and wasn’t faithful.
Hopefully, the former couple can get everything squared away soon so they can both move on with their lives.
