Dr. Dre’s daughter is depending on the good hearts of strangers to help her out of a situation she’s in.
LaTayna Young is the producer’s 38-year-old daughter. She’s Dre’s eldest child. In recent interviews, she shocked people when she said she’s homeless and living out of her car. She has four children but said her kids don’t stay with her in the car.
The Jasmine Brand reported she also works food delivery jobs like Uber Eats and Door Dash to make a few dollars. LaTayna claims she reached out to her billionaire father for help, and he did, but it stopped in 2020. LaTayna said,
“He used to help with our rent and gave an allowance, but he told us he wouldn’t do anything anymore. I’m out on the streets. I asked him for help, and I haven’t got a response back from his lawyer. I’m hearing about mistresses that he’s bought houses for. It’s a messy situation.”
LaTanya is hoping to raise $50,000 on GoFundMe. According to the publication, Dr. Dre didn’t publicly respond to his daughter’s claims. In the description on the page, she said,
“This fundraiser is to help Latanya, and her four kids find a safe and stable home. She is currently working at DoorDash to keep afloat, and these funds will be deeply appreciated. Thank you so much.”
