With basketball fans missing the game during this quarantine, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony went on IG Live to ease that void.

They both discussed some of their favorite NBA moments from the 2003 NBA draft to Wade’s retirement. In all of that, they began to discuss their favorite and memorable moments of Kobe Bryant.

Anthony started the conversation by mentioning one of his first interactions with Bryant when he was on the Denver Nuggets. and how he gained his respect.

“It’s hard to speak to people when you come on the court, ’cause you don’t know what their mentality is. They might dub you, right? They might not even say nothin’ to you. They might not shake your hand. So, Kob comes on the court—gives me dap, I give him dap. So, throughout the game, he’s sayin’ little shit to me, like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re gonna let you go off now, until the fourth quarter. I’mma guard you in the fourth quarter.”

Anthony would go on to say that during the fourth quarter, Bryant was doing everything that should have received a call like fouling out and more no one said anything. After the game, Bryant told Melo that he earned his respect.
