YouTube is taking a stand against unsafe and dangerous videos that have posted on their site. The video sharing platform has decided to ban videos such as the Bird Box challenge, where teenagers are imitating the movie and walking or driving around blindfolded. This challenge resulted in a teen get into a car accident in Utah. Another challenge that took over social media last summer was the Tide Pod challenge, where teens are seen eating the harmful laundry detergent. This challenged caused more than 74{93d4e656f9b4a61cbcf798611f0c18eb5fe89d9c268b5112a3a9a32e8f9a3b72} of teens to required medical treatment.

YouTube stated that the video creators have two months to remove these harmful videos from there channels because it violates their guidelines. If they don’t, then creators can face a penalty of having their account terminated.
