Fat Joe sends a message to Irv Gotti following Irv’s recent comments.

Irv Gotti has been trending online after his interview of N.O.R.E’s ‘Drink Champs.’

During the interview Irv made some choice comments towards Ashanti that didn’t really sit too well with some people on social media. He says, “I could get past you wanting to be with Nelly,” Irv said in the clip. “Listen, at the time, it happens… any man is hurt. The chick that you fuckin’ are in love with is with this n***a.” He also went on to say that Ashanti’s hit record ‘Happy’ was created right after to two had sex.

Following the interview, Fat Joe took to his own platform to call out Irv Gotti for his comments, and also Ja Rule for not standing up for Ashanti. “Y’all can @ IrvGotti, Ja, whatever the fuck you want,” Joe said in a video posted to Instagram. “Whatever Irv has with Ashanti is 20 years old, right? I know he was making some points that mean a lot to him, his heart, and soul. But when you keep ranting about somebody 20 years later, it feels like he’s not over the young lady, right?”

Irv Gotti responded to Joe’s comments and said he felt like a ‘fool.’ He says, “I feel like [Fat Joe] fooled me. He’s not my friend. I was fooled, but in life you get fooled,” Irv explained during an interview. “Forget Joe ’cause they don’t want me to talk about Joe, so I won’t talk about Joe, I’ll talk about life. And In life, everyone goes through friends.”

Fat Joe responded to Irv and says he loves Irv and his family. Take a look below.
