Bill Cosby was released from prison, yesterday, after a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled he did not receive a “fair trial.”
The former TV star and comedian had appealed to the court in December when his lawyers argued that Cosby’s “entire life” was put on trial that caused him to suffer “unquantifiable prejudice.”
Bill’s former TV wife, Phylicia Rashad, spoke out in celebration of Bill’s release. She shared via Twitter, “FINALLY!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!”

Social media was outraged at Rashad’s celebration, including Janet Hubert.
She says via Twitter, “Phylicia what are you thinking!!!” Janet Hubert says while criticizing Phylicia Rashad. “I don’t know you but to say this was terribly wrong. EVERYONE knew what he was doing back then. How could you NOT! Get your umbrella sista here comes the shit shower. I am outraged that he has been released. Yes he is an old ass guilty man!”
“I would have said he’s old he’s out and I’m happy for him,” Hubert continues, “but he still …guilty. I know 5 women who have not come forward. Enough Ya’ll we know better. Powerful men do wrong things, black or white…”
