For the last few years, Jay-Z has stepped up his political voice and using it to tell some incredible stories through not only his music, but through his venture with The Weinstein Company.

His first docuseries, TIME: The Khalief Browder Story, received very good reviews following its release. He is now working on another series in a six part series highlighting the events surrounding the murder of Trayvon Martin.

Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story is scheduled to be released in March. In preparation for making the film, producers allegedly contacted the parents of George Zimmerman who killed Trayvon that night in 2012.

“Anyone who fucks with my parents will be fed to an alligator,” he reportedly said in response to the attempts.  “I know how to handle people who fuck with me, I have since February 2012,” and he also said he would “beat Jay-Z.”

Jay-Z is yet to respond to the quote, but he did bring a cancer survivor on stage with him during a recent stop at the 4:44 tour.
