Jonathan Majors speaks out for the first time since he was found guilty.
In a recent interview with ABC News anchor Linsey Davis on Good Morning America, Majors says he was "was absolutely shocked and afraid" after hearing the verdict. “How is that possible? Based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, let alone our evidence," Majors said.
When asked why he decided to do the interview he explains, "It’s about responsibility and coming forward and being brave and giving my part of the story," he says.
During the interview, Majors also spoke about his relationship with actress Meagan Good, who stood by his side throughout the whole trial. He says of their relationship, "she's an angel. She's held me down like a Coretta [Scott King]. I'm so blessed to have her."
