Although Russell Simmons has denied allegations of committing sexual assault, a judge will NOT approve his request to have the case thrown out.

Earlier this year, Simmons was sued by a “Jane Doe” over a rape allegation that allegedly took place in 1988. She claims the incident happened after she attended a Def Jam concert with her son. After that, she was invited to a hotel party and dropped her son off to go. It’s at the party she says that Simmons threw her on the bed and raped her, according to a report.

A judge has ordered that the case continue and he must answer to the allegations within 20 days. The woman is seeking $10 million in damages. A hearing has been set for next month.

He didn’t respond to the courts yet, but he had something to say on IG. Check out his latest post about the #MeToo movement.
