Kim Kardashian doesn’t want a novel based on her 2007 sex tape with Ray J to be released.

Reported on Page Six, she’s attempting to block the publication of Kevin Dickson’s book, “Post Famous,” whose main character, Zia Zandrian mirrors Kim’s past. The plot is about Zia who sells her sex tape for $5 million after being convinced by her mother.

Dickson is a former friend of the family and a former tabloid editor. He acted as a close source for the Kardashians at the beginning of their career until it clashed during Kim’s divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries. They were married for 72 days in 2011.

An insider claims a publisher has been “scared off,” according to the report.

“Insiders at the publishing house said that they’d been told that if they published the book, they’d face a legal backlash. It wouldn’t be worth the hassle,” said the source.”

Dickson is reportedly negotiating with two other houses, and a studio is interested in turning it into a TV series.
