If Lil Kim were to have a biopic, she only wants one person to play her, and that’s Teyana Taylor.

During an interview with Essence, Kim revealed that she would want to share her story in a biopic form. If it were to happen, Kim said she would have to find different women to play her. One for when she was a girl, one for when she was a teenager, and she would play herself as an adult.

During the interview, Kim said,  “It can only be a girl that’s from the hood that I’m from.” She went on today, “I love Teyana, she’s my only other thought. There’s nobody else in the industry at all but Teyana.”

In 2016, Teyana channeled Lil Kim for VH1’s Hip Hop Honors tribute. MTV notes Teyana’s performance was so well, it “looked like it was a role she was born to play.” Take a look at a clip, captured by The Jasmine Brand:

Back in 2009 when Biggie’s biopic Notorious was released, Lil Kim didn’t approve of Naturi Naughton playing her, but the situation was out of her control. Do you want to see Teyana play Lil Kim in a biopic? Let us know!
