Mos Def and Talib Kweli might have something big on the way!
Can you believe it has been almost 20 years since both New York City MC’s linked up together for the first (and arguably classic) Blackstar album.
2018 might be the year we get the sequel tons of hip hop heads were all waiting for. During a recent pop up performance, the man now known as Yasiin Bey said the following.
“New Black Star with Madlib, Talib Kweli, Yasiin, comin’ soon!” he said. “All Madlib, all day. New Black Star, 2018. Madlib Black Star, Madlib Black Star.”

Talib Kweli sent out a tweet that added some more fuel to the rumors.
They later posted a photo together.
