Rapper Scales from the group Nappy Roots was reportedly shot, robbed and then kidnapped in Atlanta.
Reports claim that the incident happened at Nappy Roots restaurant, Atlantucky Brewing on Wednesday evening. The two suspect is said to have robbed a victim in the parking lot, before they entered the establishment and forced Scales into their car.
Scales was driven towards the Atlanta airport, and while in the car he was shot in the leg. He was eventually able to escape, and police found him on Oak Street in Hapeville, GA. He was trasported to the hospital and treated for nonlife threating injuries.
“I am certainly relieved that my business partner and brother Scales is safe and recovering…that is what is most important,” Nappy Roots member Skinny says. “We are certainly also praying for the patron who was shot outside the establishment.”
