According to reports a source close to Nicki Minaj says that the rapper didn’t want to attend this years American Music Awards due to her issues with both Cardi B. and Mariah Carey.
As we all can know the Queens rapper and Cardi B. (who is celebrating a birthday today) got into an altercation at a New York Fashion Week after party back in September.
As far as Nicki Minaj’s relationship with Mariah Carey, the two haven’t been friends since they were both judges on American Idol.
A close source to Nicki Minaj stated that: “Nicki was intending to go to the AMAs but then realized that the night could’ve taken a negative turn if she was somehow pitted against Cardi in any way while sitting in the audience”
Despite the drama, these women are killing it in the music game and will hopefully come to some sort of reconciliation in the future!
