Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty are bringing new life into the world. Kenny wants to make sure he’s able to witness the grand moment.

Reported on TMZ, Kenny asked the judge to alter his pretrial release condition. He’s hoping the judge will extend his curfew and travel restrictions so that he can be with his wife when she gives birth. If she gives birth after his curfew, legally he’s not allowed.

The 42-year-old is awaiting trial for failing to register as a sex offender in Los Angeles when he and Nicki moved. He’s only allowed to travel in California but is also asking the judge to give him more travel freedom as he’ll be the “Move Ya Hips” rapper’s manager and caring for their child when they’re on the road. The U.S. Attorney’s Office and pretrial services reportedly had no objections to the request, but it still has to get approved by a judge.

Kenny’s faced legal troubles in 2019 when he got pulled over in Beverly Hills in November for a traffic stop. Law enforcement realized that he was registered as a sex offender in New York but not in California. He was arrested and later released on a $20,000 bond.

Kenny’s criminal history includes a 1995 conviction for first-degree attempted rape. He served nearly four years at a New York state prison and was required to register as a sex offender.

It’s not clear exactly how far along Nicki is, she could be about six or seven months pregnant. Hopefully, the judge allows it.
