Twitter users have been asking for an edit button for quite sometime… and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is taking his sweet time to get it done!
In a recent conference that took place at Indian Institute of Technology Dorsey answered everyone’s question with a question.
When asked about whether or not the ‘edit button’ is on it’s way to the popularized app, Dorsey replied saying:
When we hear about the edit button, you have to pay attention not to what people are asking you for but to the use cases. What’s the question behind the question?”
“So I’ve m . isspelled something or I tweeted the wrong URL, and I want to correct it. So that’s a lot more achievable than allowing people to edit any tweet all the way back in time.”
