Prayers up!

Quavo released a heartfelt tribute song to his late nephew and groupmate, Takeoff. In the song, “With Out” Quavo rapped, “Out in the galaxy, up in the stars/Over the universe, it’s bigger than Mars/See you in heaven, see you heaven/When I see you in heaven, I’ma be with my dog,” in the chorus.

In the moving song, Quavo also sings: “I wish I had a time machine/Just so you take a ride with me/I miss just how you smile at me/Unc & Phew until infinity.”

Quavo previously shared a heartfelt note to his partner via Instagram. He wrote, “it’s so hard to tell you ima miss you because you always with me and we did everything together. Since we were kids you been by my side.” He continues, “You never competed with me, we were always on the same team. You hated playing against me because I was always playing too hard or too ruff then I can hear my mama say ‘sonn not too ruff’ cuz I didn’t like to lose!”

Forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, Takeoff.
