It’s safe to say, R. Kelly’s 2019 is off to a very bad start.

Lifetime’s airing of the six-part docuseries Surviving R. Kelly, resulted in backlash and protests of the singer as he prepared to release a new single, with an album soon thereafter.

That pressure allowed Sony to make a decision to drop R. Kelly from the label, and law enforcement in Chicago, and Atlanta to open up investigations against the singer.

Weeks after its airing, R. Kelly tried to continue his career overseas, as he made a big announcement yesterday (Feb. 5) on Instagram. He revealed that he would be going on tour in Austrailia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.

One day later, the tour may not be happening after all, as he took down the flyer and his announcement overall.

He has repeatedly denied allegations of sexual assault, and kidnapping. The singer was also found no guilty in 2008 on child pornography charges.

There is no word as of yet on whether the tour will continue to go on as planned.
