Sha’Carri Richardson Speaks Out After She Got Suspended From Olympics Due To Failed Drug Test

Sha’Carri was suspended from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics after failing to pass a drug test. They found weed in her system which is against guidelines.

Social media and fans all around the world showed Sha’Carri a tremendous amount of love and support. The hashtag #LetHerRun was trending online for days following the news that she can’t compete. Sha’Carri expressed her gratitude via Twitter, she writes, “the support my community I thank y’all , the negative forget y’all and enjoy the games because we all know it won’t be the same..”

In the response to the criticism and backlash, Sha’Carri tweets, “all these perfect people that know how to live life , I’m glad I’m not one of them!”

She says she can’t be out Olympic Champ this year, but next year she promises to be our World Champ.
