More tragedy has struck the Jefferson family.
Yolanda Carr, the mother of the late Atatiana Jefferson has passed away. Her death comes two months after Jefferson’s father suddenly passed away after suffering a heart attack. In October of 2019, Jefferson was shot and killed by Fort Worth Texas Police officer, Aaron Dean, while she was at home playing video games with her nephew.
Lee Merritt, the family’s lawyer confirmed the death of Ms. Carr earlier today, stating that she passed away from a reported illness that had not been disclosed publicly.
