According to famed forensic pathologist, Dr. Michael Baden, Rodney Reed, the Black man who was convicted of rape and murder in 1998 is innocent.
Reed who is 51, has been on death row for over 21 years for the alleged rape and murder of Stacy Stites, and is currently set to be executed on November 20th.
Many have spoken out in defense for Reed, as evidence shows he is not guilty of this crime.
In a recent interview, Dr. Baden stated that it is “medically and scientifically impossible” for Reed to have commited this crime.
“The forensic evidence shows he could not have been with her at the time of death,” She was already decomposing when her DNA was found in a truck, in the driver’s side.”
Dr. Baden also concluded to there being no evidence that Stites was raped.
