Willow Smith has been granted an order of protection from her alleged stalker.

It has been reported by TMZ, that Smith, 20, had requested the order against 30-year-old Walter James Whaley, who was caught trespassing on her property last December in Los Angeles. She stated that the man had jumped the fence and started to walk around her house looking for a way to get in.

Surveillance footage captured still images of the Whaley outside of her home. Smith’s security had called the police after the trespassing occurred but he was not taken into custody at the time. She also states that the officers found a Greyhound ticket on Whaley showing that he traveled from Oklahoma the day before.

He also had been contacting Smith on social media and sent her messages expressing his feelings for her. After the incident took place, Smith hired a team of private investigators to look into Whaley’s background. It was allegedly discovered that he was a convicted sex offender.

It was announced that Whaley was officially arrested on March 3rd. He has been ordered to end all communication attempts with the young entertainer and to stay at least 100 yards away from her at all times.
