Gekyume, the son of the late rap star XXXTentacion, is the face of his father’s latest merch collection released on Tuesday (Jan.23).

The complete collection, starring X’s son and another boy name Aiden, was shared on the “Sad!” hitmaker’s Instagram account, in collaboration with Revenge clothing line, to commemorate XXXTentacion birthday, who would have been 26.

The collaboration’s caption read: “Happy Birthday Jah, Hope We Make You Proud Today, Lookbook Ft Gekyume and Aiden, @xxxtentacion + @revenge Online Now, Your Legacy Will Never Fade.”

Gekyume is seen wearing various hoodies that has the X’s hand print and tees with XXXTentacion’s infamous headshot. The merch was available upon the Instagram post; however, sold out in 20 minutes – according to various reports.

Other XXXTentacion merch is available now on the official Revenge website. Shortly after the merch dropped, a video surfaced on X of Gekyume singing Happy Birthday to his late-father.

Gekyume was born seven months after the murder of XXXTentacion, who was shot and killed during a robbery in Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 18, 2018. In March 2023, five years after X’s death, three men were found guilty of first-degree murder for killing the rap star and sentenced to life in prison.

XXXTentacion burst onto the mainstream landscape in 2017 with the hit song “Look At Me.” He released five albums before his untimely passing. The EMPIRE signed artist achieved two diamond-selling records in 2021 in “SAD!” and in 2023 “F*ck Love” with Trippie Redd.  X would release two posthumous albums and two documentaries.

XXXtentacion would continue to release new music after his passing in collaborations with rap stars such as Kodak Black, Kanye West, JuiceWrld, Lil Uzi Vert, The Weekend and many more.

Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez of Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning would discuss XXXtentacion’s legacy and how he will be remembered in Hip Hop the day after death. Check out the full discussion below.
