Actor Jamie Foxx, 58, is proving he can laugh at himself—even when AI is doing the makeover.

On Wednesday, June 24, the Academy Award-winning sent Instagram into a frenzy after sharing a carousel of fan-made AI-generated images that reimagined him as a “YN.” The post quickly caught fire, collecting more than 600,000 likes and nearly 19,000 comments as fans weighed in on the surprisingly convincing digital transformation.

Rather than pushing back against the AI creations, Foxx embraced the joke.

“They done turned me to a YN 😂,” he captioned the post.

The images depict the 58-year-old entertainer in designer-inspired fits, layered jewelry and poses commonly seen across today’s rap culture, creating a youthful version of Foxx that many fans found both hilarious and believable.

The comments quickly filled with jokes about how realistic the AI edits looked. Instagram user @Chi_OnTV wrote, “POV: Clones just be clones @iamjamiefoxx,” poking fun at the growing flood of AI-generated celebrity images online.

Others appreciated how accurately the software captured the “YN” look. “@Chellehgradio” commented, “I cant stop laughing!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 YN pose lookbook 101!,” while @dominiquechinn added, “If it’s not real, AI sure is believable 😂.”

Even fellow artists joined the conversation. Three 6 Mafia rapper DJ Paul admitted, “Much as i hate the saying ‘YN,’ I cant stop laughing at these pics😂😂😂😂😂.”

Media personality Brittany Sky also chimed in, writing, “You can honestly play any role 😂,” a nod to Foxx’s decades-long reputation as one of Hollywood’s most versatile performers.

Another fan, Ben DaDonnn, praised the AI-generated wardrobe instead of questioning its authenticity, commenting, “They got u slick dripped tho😂 that grambling/chrome combo is trimmm 🔥.”
