Love is in the air.
Nelly and Ashanti are both pulling on the heartstrings of social media users all over. We previously reported that Nelly confirmed that they were back together in an interview with Love and Hip Hop stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost.
When Rasheeda asked if the relationship was back, Nelly responds, “yeah, we cool again,” he said in a clip. “I think it surprised both of us, though. It wasn’t anything that …[was] planned. I think we’re both pretty much doing what we do.”
He continued, “Sometimes being separate you understand one another more,” he said. “You could be like, ‘Yo, let me see exactly what they see.’ You know, because we all can be defensive sometimes in our own relationships. And we know we wrong but we going to stand on it. But we all a victim to that.”
“Yeah,” he said. “I mean, because it’s no pressure. Before I felt like both of us are doing what we’re doing career-wise and when you got so many people in the middle of it, it could be tough.”
Since the couple have reconciled, the two have been spotted all over together. In a recent viral video, the two were riding together jamming to Sexyy Red’s hit song Pound Town. One particular part of the song seemingly resonated with Ashanti. Take a look below.
