In a recent interview with The Daily Mail, Blac Chyna explained  that her celebrity status is credited to her own hard work with a little help from rapper Drake.

Chyna brought it back to 2010 when the “In My Feelings” rapper mentioned her in his, ‘Miss Me’ song where he rapped, “Call the king of Diamonds and tell Chyna it’s be worth the flight.”

Blac Chyna went on to explain exactly how that happened saying: ‘I actually had a booking and I think it was in Tennessee, the guys introduced me to Drake, and Drake, you know, put me in a song and I started doing all the music videos and the magazines.’

While clearing the air on whether the Kardashians deserved credit for her claim to fame, Chyna stated, “I was already famous before then. I was already a celebrity even back in D.C., I took over that, went to Miami and I was a celebrity down there. Came to LA, same thing. I kind of ran all three states and I’m actually kind of proud of that… I would consider myself a celebrity, which is like a celebrated person. So, it’s up to you to make me this person.”

Chyna is currently working on some music with hopes that Drake will possibly collaborate with her.
