Boosie Badazz slams critics questioning his appeal for a presidential pardon from Donald Trump. In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), the rapper directly addressed those taking issue with his efforts, offering a pointed critique of social media culture and its tendency to amplify negativity.

“You better know that as soon as you get into some sh*t, they’re going to kick you way harder when you’re down than they ever lifted you up when you were up,” Boosie wrote, his frustration evident. “We gotta stay outta trouble. People want you in prison, away from your kids. #itsfunnytothem because they’ve never been.”

In a subsequent post, Boosie doubled down with a fiery response to his detractors. “Y’all saying I shouldn’t ask for a pardon? Shut the f*ck up. I’m gonna keep asking. This is my life. My case was already dismissed. I deserve a pardon.”

Boosie’s appeal stems from a turbulent year marked by legal battles. In early 2023, he was arrested in San Diego on federal weapons charges. Authorities accused the rapper, a convicted felon, of illegally possessing a firearm. Although the case was dismissed in August after his legal team exposed procedural errors and flaws in the evidence, the victory was short-lived. Just weeks later, Boosie revealed that he had been re-indicted on the same charges, a development he has described as unjust.

The “Wipe Me Down” artist’s legal troubles have reignited debates about the justice system and the challenges faced by formerly incarcerated individuals. Boosie Badazz’s defiant tone in his posts underscores his resolve to fight for his freedom, despite public scrutiny. His case has also sparked broader conversations about the intersection of celebrity, redemption, and the legal system, with many questioning the fairness of his re-indictment.

As Boosie Badazz continues to pursue a pardon, his battle remains a reminder of the uphill struggles often faced by those navigating the justice system, even after securing initial victories. For the rapper, the stakes are deeply personal—freedom, family, and a chance to move forward.
