Coi Leray Stars In Adidas’ ‘Start With Sneakers’ Campaign

Foot Locker, in collaboration with Adidas, has launched its latest campaign, “Start with Sneakers,” featuring Coi Leray. Leray took center stage in the debut ad, showcasing adidas Originals in various styles. Sporting a tracksuit and sunglasses, she effortlessly paired Gazelles with a red dress and transformed Campus 00s into a “corporate chic” look.

Expressing her excitement about the collaboration with Foot Locker, Leray emphasized the significance of sneakers in her life, stating, “Growing up in Hip Hop culture, sneakers have always been [a] source of expression for me. Even now, sneakers are at the core of my outfits — from red carpets to festival stages.” She further highlighted her aim to blend adidas classics with the latest style trends to inspire women to stay fashionable this season.

The ad’s release coincides with Leray’s recent single, “Lemon Cars,” which premiered alongside visuals directed by Dragan Andic. The music video has garnered over 440,000 views on YouTube since its release.

“Lemon Cars” serves as the title track for Leray’s upcoming EP. It’s set to drop on May 24 with executive production by Mike WiLL Made-It. The EP will feature previously released singles like “Can’t Come Back” and “Wanna Come Thru.”

Reflecting on “Wanna Come Thru,” Leray described it as a celebration of self-love and empowerment, stating, “This song is about me on my grown and sexy.” Leray’s musical journey includes her 2023 project, “Blue Moon,” featuring tracks such as “Wicked Butterflies” and “Isabel Marant,”. All showcasing her versatility and evolving artistry.
