Diddy speaks.
The music mogul shared a message via Instagram, “time tells truth.”
The post comes after Diddy’s son, Christian Combs, dropped a diss track addressing all the allegations surrounding the Combs family. “I dare one of you n***a scream out ‘No Diddy’ (F*ck that N***a up) / Brought blow with me / Baddies ready to go with / I just nod and they know go gett’em” Combs rapped on the track.
Diddy has been accused of sexual assault by multiple people, including his producer, Lil Rod. His lawyer has since denied those allegations.
“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday,” she wrote. “His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.
“We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with [Lil Rod]’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls.”
She concluded: “We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”
Russell Simmons also came to Diddy’s defense amidst allegations. “When you tear someone down or you watch someone tear someone down, try not to get so excited. I know it’s fun to watch for some people. If I had a nickel for every nasty meme sent to me by people whose lives were enhanced and built by Sean Combs, it’s like, it seems a bit hypocritical since the only reason you have a life is ’cause you worked for him, or he gave you a job or lifted you up somehow.”
He continued: “Watching our brothers fall is hurtful. Having everybody get together and laugh at our brother’s fall or supporting the tearing down of our brothers is tough.”
“You may think it’s, you know, entertaining. Some of the memes are funny, right? But, we gotta look up, train our minds to see the good in things and not the negative.”
