Doja Cat recently decided to take a break from Instagram, and it could last indefinitely.
The 28-year-old rapper/singer claims she needs a break from the social media platform’s “toxic” environment. “Hey, I’m gonna deactivate because I’m not really feeling this anymore. You guys take care of yourselves,” she wrote in a now-deleted post.
Doja pointed out that despite her fondness for the app and finding inspiration, “it’s getting to be too much.” She continued: “The way I’m spoken to on here and treated makes me have f*cked up thoughts. Please watch how you talk to and about people on the internet. Bye.”
