Drake, who has been struggling to sell his Beverly Hills mansion for years, has decided to lease it out at an astounding monthly price.
According to reports, Drake set the rent at $250,000 a month after purchasing the $75 million estate in spring 2022. Originally listed for $88 million, it returned to the market in May 2024 at the same price but found no buyers. This 20,000-square-foot estate ranks among L.A.’s most exclusive homes, spanning more than 20 acres—the largest property in Beverly Hills’ 90210. The estate boasts 10 bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, an 11-car garage, a wine cellar, an elevator, and a private orchard.
Additionally, Drake has expanded his real estate empire with a 50,000-square-foot mansion in Toronto’s Bridle Path.
He bought the land in 2015, demolishing its previous structure to craft the home that made headlines last summer when stormwaters flooded its interior. The mansion also appeared on Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” artwork. In 2023, Drake added a $15 million Texas resort property, nestled between Austin and Houston, to his growing collection.
Joe Budden Slams Drake Over UMG Lawsuit, Accuses Him of Hypocrisy and Career Destruction
In other news, Joe Budden slammed the Toronto artist for suing Universal Music Group over Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, branding him a “Karen” and accusing him of damaging hip-hop. The rapper-turned-podcaster unleashed his frustration with the explosive lawsuit on his latest broadcast. His comments add to the growing criticism of the 6 God for turning a rap rivalry into a legal battle.
During a scathing, extended rant, Budden criticized Drake as a hypocrite for blaming UMG for a 2024 shooting at his Toronto residence. He pointed to the promotion of “Not Like Us” and its violent lyrics as a catalyst for the incident and a series of trespassing events. He stated, “When [Drake] and I got into whatever we got into and them fans showed up to my house, he incentivized that, he cheered them on, he put them on a public platform, he applauded that behavior.”
The podcaster further took aim at Drake’s tough-guy image, voicing, “You at the game running around with this n-gga that has been threatening Kendrick saying, ‘I’ma kill you, I’ma do X, Y, Z,’” referring to fellow Canadian rapper Top5 who recently beat a murder case and threatened to shoot Kendrick if he comes to Toronto.” “You know how you running around with and you know what you doing and you know what you threatening. So if you that, then be that. But don’t be that and also Karen out […] I don’t like it. It’s nasty and disgusting.” He continued, “That’s my beef with ‘Mob Ties’ Drake. I miss Drake. There are too many artists that are suffering from an identity crisis or begin to lose themselves when they get in this shit. I miss original Drake.”
Furthermore, Budden argued that Drake’s odds of prevailing in his legal dispute with UMG are slim, suggesting the lawsuit could potentially unravel his career.
