Eminem is still open to releasing a collaborative album with his long-time collaborator, 50 Cent.
During an interview on Christmas Day on his Shade 45 radio station, Em, alongside his manager Paul Rosenberg, said he would be down for the project.
When asked if he was interested in making the album, Eminem responded, “That would be great. We just gotta stop bullshitting and do it. I would never say it’s not possible.”
“I would love to hear it, so whenever you guys are ready, we’re putting it out,” Rosenberg added.
In January, Em spoke about the prospects of him and 50 making the album on DJ Whoo Kid’s show on Shade 45.
“I’m trying to get him to make a new album so bad,” Em explained. “We need another 50 album like really bad. 50’s on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour.
“I told him whatever the f*ck he needs from me, I’m here. That sh*t would be crazy, though — an album with me and him,” he continued.
While fans wait for the release of the album, Em and 50 both made an appearance on Snoop Dogg‘s latest album, Missionary. Produced by Dr. Dre, Em, and 50 drop guest verses on “Gunz N Smoke.”
In other music-related news, Em chimed in on Kendrick Lamar’s chances at the Grammys. The “Stan” rapper said that K-Dot could be in store for a clean sweep.
“The competition is tough, but Kendrick is going to sweep it. He deserves to,” Em said.
Kendrick’s hit “Not Like Us” is a frontrunner in several major categories, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.
Also, K-Dot received nods in the latter two categories for his guest appearance on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That.”
Eminem also is nominated for Best Rap Performance with his track “Houdini,” from his latest project, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).
