The rumored beef between GloRilla and City Girls rapper JT became very real after a heated social media exchange following the release of GloRilla’s Ehhthang Ehhthang mixtape. The project features a track entitled “Aite,” where the Memphis rapper addresses the division between female rappers, specifically Cardi B and Nicki, as well as her and JT.

“I just pray one day the bad b*tches would come together/’Cause Cardi and Nicki on a track would break some f*ckin’ records/Me and JT ain’t the best of friends, but we ain’t beefin.’”

However, it doesn’t seem that well-meaning tracking garnered the attention Glorilla was asking for.

How Did The Beef Between Glorilla and JT Start?

Rumors have swelled about the pair since the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. According to YouTuber Armon Wiggins, the two reportedly got into a backstage altercation after a verbal disagreement. While JT vehemently denied the allegations, GloRilla never confirmed or denied if the rumors were, in fact, true.

Did Glorilla Intentially Sneak Diss JT With “Yeah Glo!” Verse?

In February, GloRilla dropped the first single off her Ehhthang Ehhthang, “Yeah Glo!” On the track, she seemingly addresses the situation between her and JT, rapping, “Yeah, Glo! Stomp a lil’ p*ssy ho with some shell toes/ Yeah, Glo! Slappin’ rap b*tches and makin’ bail, ho.” While GloRilla didn’t directly say the line was about JT, fans assumed she was taking a shot at the Miami rapper.

Glorilla And JT Trade Shots Back And Forth Over Lyric In “Aite”

As fans analyzed Glorilla’s latest project, JT took to X to share her thoughts on the album. According to JT, Glorilla’s failure to address the rumors allows them to spread. In her opinion, the “Tomorrow 2” rapper purposely waited to address the situation on her new project: “I been said she didn’t! She the one went radio silent! Played into, released a song about slapping rap b*tches now it’s female unity?? CORNY!!!!!,” she wrote.

It didn’t take long for Glorilla to catch wind of her comments, taking shots at JT’s style choices and wigs: “Ho shut yo dumb a** up & fix dem uglass wigs I said it ain’t no beef ho you da one with da secret animosity,” she wrote in a now-deleted post. JT quickly fired back, “Ugly wigs? B*tch is you dumb hoe? you’ll NEVER in your life be this raw hoe I been had fake tittys off care credit, I been that b*tch you just getting training wheels!”

JT said she had no issues with the rapper initially, calling Glo a “real b*tch,” but after she allegedly “switched up,” things became sour between the two. “I honestly thought glo was a real b*tch man but she not she caused all that sh*t with FNF remix too! Came in the game messy & phony ready to switch on your homies too had to jump back on the roof!” she wrote.

At one point, a veiled threat was made by the City Girls rapper when she posted her mugshots with an empty space that looked presumably open to a run-in with Glo. However, the rapper seemed unfazed, responding, “Girl dem mugshots is from you stealing not fighting b*tch STFU.” The back and forth continued for several hours but eventually died back down.
