When asked, Fivio said, “I wasn’t there and I’m no lawyer or no scientist, but if someone said they got shot and it’s no hole in their body they didn’t get shot we all know that.”
On August 29, 2020, Megan Thee Stallion was reportedly shot in the foot by Tory Lanez after leaving Kylie Jenner’s party in Hollywood Hills. Tory Lanez would be charged with assault and stand trial in 2022. Tory Lanez was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison in August 2023.
In the past, 50 Cent and Drake have shared similar sentiments to Fivio on the shooting incident publicly.
Fans shared Fivio’s past support for Tory Lanez after he spoke about the situation. On Jan.29, Fivio tweeted on X with a lock emoji, “Free Tory.”
Tory Lanez and Fivio Foreign collaborated in January 2020 on the song and music video “K L O K.”
Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting situation resurfaced last week during her feud with Nicki Minaj. While promoting her response track, “BigFoot,” Minaj said that Megan lied about being shot. Megan’s diss track to Nicki Minaj, “HISS,” helped her become the first female rapper to debut at #1 on the Billboard Global 200 with a solo song.
